Who is Eligible for the Kafalat Program?

The Ehsaas Kafalat program is targeted at families who are living below the poverty line and cannot afford to meet their basic needs. To be eligible for the program, families must have a valid CNIC (computerized national identity card) and be registered with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Families must also provide proof of their current monthly income and expenditures.
